Based in London & NYC, Rashid is no stranger within the underground music scene. He has signed music to many esteemed labels worldwide that include Noir Music, Anjunadeep, Kittball, HK Records, Cajmere's imprint Cajual, Get Physical & Einmusika among others. Rashid's talent and dedication as an artist and DJ has not gone unnoticed with praise received from Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Cajmere, Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire, Hernan Cattaneo, Coyu and Edu Imbernon to name a few. Remixes of his releases have been produced by the likes of Maya Jane Coles, dOP, Tube & Berger and Jody Wisternoff putting him in an elite bracket of revered producers. 

Rashid's ascent in the dance music industry continued in December 2014 with the release of his two EP's, 'What You Like' on Einmusika Recordings & 'Forrest' EP on Subjekt Recordings. 'What You Like' achieved a number 1 spot on Beatport's Minimal chart with 'Forrest' reaching number 8 on Beatport's House Chart, cementing him as one to watch in 2015. 

2015 has already brought much success to Rashid. Deep house release 'Reasons Why' on Cajual Records gained strong support from Noir, Cajmere & Sonny Federa securing him firmly in the Beatport Deep House chart for three weeks. Selling his debut headline London show 'Chapter 24 presents Gather Round Rashid Ajami' off the back of a release supported by the likes of Damian Lazarus, Edu Imbernon and Wankelmut was a huge sign of intent for the rest of the year. 

Production skills aside, Rashid's live presence has evolved as a result of playing in diverse venues across the globe ranging from New York's Marquee, Decadence in Kiev to Deep Like Dubai. Through his experience on the London and NYC clubbing circuit Rashid has acquired the great skill of taking the crowd on a musical odyssey during his sets. Dance floors can anticipate a broad range of fresh sounding tech-house, techno and house music, all delivered with his own edits and unique mixing style to work any crowd he comes across.
